DARLINGTON, SC — Recently, NASCAR’s Training and Development department housed in Concord, North Carolina was recently named fourth on the Learning! 100 list as one of the top 100 global learning organizations for high performance.
The sanctioning body received this award for its “Home Tracks Online Training Program” which serves as an online portal for officials who officiate races in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and West, NASCAR Whelen Modified Series and NASCAR Pinty’s Series as examples.
Each NASCAR race series has its own comprehensive, detailed rulebook of which a significant portion is focused on vehicle specifications. Earlier this season, NASCAR rolled out the Home Tracks Online Training Program to equip newly hired officials with the tools they need to effectively and accurately conduct vehicle inspections according to the specific rulebooks.
NASCAR’s Training & Development team partnered with NASCAR Competition subject matter experts to design and deploy this brand-new training program, which will target approximately 100 NASCAR Home Tracks across North America.
2016 marks NASCAR’s third achievement of winning a Learning! 100 award and boasts that NASCAR’s training platforms are recognized as a leader in industry best practices. Organizations that are included in the category prove to be innovative collaborative and have a truly immersive learning culture.
