LONG POND, Pa.: Theodore “Teddy” Brown has been infinitely suspended by NASCAR for violating its’ behavioral policy according to the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series rule book.

NASCAR will not pre-judge guilt or innocence in the criminal or civil legal system, or the guilt or innocence of the Member, but rather review each matter in its own context and circumstances and with regards to its potential effects upon the sport.”
A report from Statesville.com says that Brown, 48, was charged with habitual misdemeanor assault which is a Class H felony in North Carolina and misdemeanor assault on a female.
He was arrested on Jun. 8 following the Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway race weekend and was released on a $10,000 bond.

Brown served as crew chief for driver Mike Harmon last weekend at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway and through the series’ first 11 Xfinity races of 2020.
