Brennan Poole has found a new home for the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season.
Poole will join Alpha Prime Racing next season as the No. 44 Chevrolet Camaro driver.
The Woodlands, Texas native joins the Mooresville, N.C.-based Alpha Prime Racing after competing in 31 races for JD Motorsports this season. Poole finished 24th in the Xfinity Series championship standings with a season-high fifth-place finish at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway.
Poole, 32, is a veteran of 124 Xfinity Series starts with one pole, nine top-five and 37 top-10 finishes to his credit. He qualified for the first two Xfinity Series Playoffs in 2016 and 2017, finishing a career-best sixth in 2017.
Additionally, Poole has logged 42 Cup Series starts, earning a career-best ninth-place run at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway in October driving for Rick Ware Racing.
Long-time marketing partners Finance Pro Plus and Macc Door Systems will anchor Poole’s 2024 campaign.
Finance Pro Plus will be on Poole’s Chevrolet for the entire 33-race season, with 20 races as a primary partner and 13 as an associate marketing partner. Macc Door Systems will support the No. 44 in a primary role for the remaining 13 races and an associate position for 23 events.
“I already can’t wait for the season to start because I’m looking forward to working with such great people and partners,” Poole said.
“I’m so honored for the opportunity to run the No. 44 and thankful to the sponsors who are supporting the team this season.”
Poole joins Ryan Ellis, who will pilot the No. 43 Alpha Prime Racing Chevrolet as full-time drivers for the organization owned by Tommy Joe Martins and Caesar Bacarella.
“We just landed one of the best drivers in the series,” Martins said. “It’s just a really exciting day for our company. It’s the first time we’ve had two full-time drivers, and to have them be the quality of Brennan and Ryan.
“Both Caesar and I are over the moon. He’s exactly what our team needed.”
Finance Pro Plus will increase its commitment to Poole next season and is excited to continue the journey.
“We are extremely excited to be sponsoring in NASCAR because we truly believe that it is one of the best sports in the world, with the most devout and loyal fanbase of hardworking Americans and business owners,” offered Josh Felts, CEO of Finance Pro Plus.
“We have always been big fans of Brennan Poole and look forward to running fast together.”
Alpha Prime Racing ran three Xfinity Series teams in 2023, but the driver of the No. 45 Chevrolet Camaro has not been announced. Jeffrey Earnhardt, the mainstay No. 45 Chevrolet driver this season is not expected to return to the organization.
