Harrisburg, N.C. (January 31, 2024) – KHI Management (KHIM) adds NASCAR veteran Corey LaJoie and Supercars Champion Shane van Gisbergen to its client list to start 2024.
“We’ve had a busy off-season at KHI, both on the management side and the racing side,” said KHI Management co-owner Kevin Harvick. “On the management side, we’ve added Corey and Shane which is great for us. With Corey established in the Cup Series and Shane making his transition to NASCAR, I am confident KHIM can help them navigate their careers and grow their brands.”
A third-generation racer, LaJoie has been competing in NASCAR since he was 17, starting in the lower ranks and making his way to the premier series at the age of 22. Competing across multiple series over the last 10 years, the 32-year-old is entering his fifth full year competing in the NASCAR Cup Series and fourth year piloting the No. 7 Chevrolet for Spire Motorsports.
Improving each year, the 2023 season was LaJoie’s best season to date, earning his highest finish in the season-ending points standings and best career finish of fourth on two occasions (Atlanta Motor Speedway – March 19, 2023, and Talladega Superspeedway – October 1, 2023).
Off the track, the Concord, N.C. native is known for hosting his successful podcast, “Stacking Pennies,” and his charitable work with various organizations, including extensive work with SamaritanFeet.org.
“I’m excited to be a part of the team,” said LaJoie. “Having the chance to work officially with KHI will allow me to continue building and evolving my career for years to come. The knowledge Kevin and his team bring to the table is second to none in our industry, whether it’s on the track or off. The Harvick’s have had a large impact on my career, from the time I was just a kid trying to find my way, so getting to formalize a working relationship with them and their team is something I’m proud of.”
Making the move to the United States in 2024, Van Gisbergen has his eyes set on the top levels of NASCAR and will compete full time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with a limited schedule in the NASCAR Cup Series. The three-time Australian Supercars champion made his NASCAR Cup Series debut competing in the inaugural Chicago Street race.
With weather and strategy working in his favor, Van Gisbergen started the race from third and led nine laps on his way to victory lane in just his first career start in NASCAR. With a desire for more, the New Zealand native entered additional races in 2023 before committing to the full 2024 season with Kaulig Racing through its partnership with Trackhouse Racing.
“It’s been a huge change for me moving to the USA for 2024 and beyond,” said Van Gisbergen. “It’s an exciting opportunity to team up with Kevin and the KHI Management team. I feel like I am in a great place for not only on track but off-track support to help me throughout my NASCAR journey.”
KHIM’s current driver line-up includes Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Ryan Preece, Harrison Burton, Todd Gilliland, Josh Berry, Riley Herbst, William Sawalich, Brent Crews, Keelan Harvick and Landen Lewis.
