WINSTON SALEM, N.C. (Jan. 14, 2025) – Ahead of the Cook Out Clash and the Cook Out Madhouse Classic at Bowman Gray Stadium, NASCAR and the City of Winston-Salem are calling for fans attending the event weekend to have a pre-determined plan for parking prior to making their way to the venue.

On-site parking at Bowman Gray Stadium is extremely limited, so it’s essential that fans have purchased access to the East and/or West lots prior to getting off on Research Parkway and arriving at the event. If not, fans are directed to utilize the off-site parking options NASCAR has created at Innovation Quarter and Allegacy Stadium that include climate-controlled transportation to and from the event. On-site parking for Sunday is SOLD OUT and only a limited number of on-site spots remain for Saturday. Thus, fans should act swiftly in securing both on-site and off-site parking for the event while supplies last.
“Our goal is to provide a positive experience for all our fans attending and be the best community partner possible,” said Justin Swilling, NASCAR’s Project Manager for the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium. “Due to the uniqueness of the event and the footprint required to host the NASCAR Cup Series, it was crucial we provide sufficient and adequate parking solutions for fans, while maintaining respect for our neighbors. We feel confident in our event parking plan and encourage fans to do the same.”
Parking of any kind will not be available nor permitted on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive adjacent to the stadium. Additionally, all traditionally designated parking areas for Weekly Racing at Bowman Gray Stadium will be blocked off and restricted throughout the event weekend. As such, there will be no street parking or drive-up parking available on the day of the event, and doing so is strictly prohibited.

The Cook Out Clash on Feb. 2 will be the first NASCAR Cup Series Race at the iconic venue since 1971 and will be shown live on FOX. The event sold out in November, and only a limited number of seats remain for the Cook Out Madhouse Classic on Saturday, Feb. 1. A ticket to Saturday’s race will also include NASCAR Cup Series practice and qualifying as the 2025 season revs its engines in historic fashion.
