The Original Roy Hutchins Barbeque at The Speedway will offer a specialized menu that is sure to bring the true taste of traditional Texas BBQ along with a full-service bar. The menu will offer U.S.D.A. Prime Grade Brisket, Turkey Breast, Pulled Pork, House-Made Original & Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage, and, of course, the famous Texas Twinkie. The infield location will be open throughout the 2025 events season.
“The Roy Hutchins Barbeque family is thrilled to be the Official BBQ Partner of Texas Motor Speedway,” said The Original Roy Hutchins Barbeque Director of Operations Zackary Hutchins. “Roy is excited to bring our family recipes dating back to 1978 right here to share with race fans. Our top priority has always been delivering the true taste of Texas BBQ while providing exceptional service, and Texas Motor Speedway is no different. Our custom-built menu is perfect for the whole family on race weekend, plus you’ll meet our delicious Texas Twinkie if you haven’t already! We are so grateful for the opportunity to bring our slow-smoked perfection to the Speedway.”
Roy Hutchins, with son Wes and grandson Zack, has been slow-smoking BBQ to perfection since ‘Roy’s Smokehouse’ opened in 1978. Son of WC and Claudia Lee Hutchins, Roy set out to become a pitmaster, then opened his first smokehouse in Princeton, Texas. After many iterations, Roy finally settled on ‘The Original Roy Hutchins Barbeque’ in Trophy Club, Texas.
Since opening the doors to the flagship store in North Texas, the establishment has gained online popularity, including TikTok food critic Keith Lee who featured the BBQ joint and called it his favorite Texas BBQ.
“Texas Motor Speedway is all about delivering unforgettable experiences for our fans, and bringing The Original Roy Hutchins Barbeque on board as our Official BBQ Partner takes that to the next level,” said Texas Motor Speedway Executive Vice President & General Manager Mark Faber. “This partnership combines two Texas traditions — NASCAR racing and authentic slow-smoked barbecue — right in the heart of the action. We’re thrilled to welcome Roy, Wes, Zackary, and the entire Hutchins family to the Speedway and can’t wait for our fans to enjoy their legendary flavors, including their Texas Twinkie, during race weekends and beyond.”
