DANVILLE, VA. (February 3, 2025) – Disaster relief ministry, God’s Pit Crew, is set to soon host its annual Benefit Banquet, scheduled for Friday, March 21, and Saturday, March 22, 2025.
This special event is open to the public, and all are invited to attend for an evening of inspiration, community, and support for the organization’s life-changing disaster relief efforts.
“The Benefit Banquet is a powerful way to show support for those in need and learn more about how God’s Pit Crew is making a difference in the lives tragically impacted by disaster,” shared God’s Pit Crew President and Founder, Randy Johnson. “It’s an evening of reflection, encouragement, and hope – and we are excited to share these stories of resilience with our community.”
Attendees will hear moving first-hand accounts from disaster survivors, detailing the harrowing moments they faced and how hope was restored to them through the tireless efforts of God’s Pit Crew. The event will also feature inspiring musical performances and a reflection on the ministry’s impact on areas and families devastated by recent disasters.
One of the highlights of this year’s event will be a behind-the-scenes look at the important work being done by God’s Pit Crew’s Rebuild Team. Details will be shared regarding the ongoing efforts to provide more than 25 homes in areas devastated by Hurricane Helene. This year, the ministry is proud to declare that it is “The Year for Rebuilding Lives,” focusing on long-term restoration for communities still recovering from the storm’s destruction.
The Benefit Banquet is open to anyone interested in attending and will be held at The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (150 Slayton Avenue, Danville, Virginia 24540). Tickets include attendance for one night of the event, a plated meal and dessert, and are priced at $62.50 each.
Tables seating eight people – perfect for company outings and large parties – are also available for reservation and priced at $500. All funds raised go to support ministry programs.
Both nights of the banquet will feature the same program, so ticket holders can select the date that best fits their schedule. Whether attending with friends, family, or colleagues, this event promises to be a memorable and meaningful experience for all.
