TEMPERANCE, Mich. (April 18, 2024) – For the second consecutive year, the ARCA Menards Series East will make a stop at the tight quarter-mile bullring at Flat Rock Speedway for the Dutch Boy 150.
The home track for ARCA dating back to the sanctioning body’s founding in 1953 by John and Mildred Marcum, Flat Rock Speedway hosted 74 ARCA Menards Series races from the series inaugural season through 2000. The ARCA Menards Series East, which started in 1987 as the NASCAR Busch North Series and also formerly known as the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, made its first-ever stop at the downriver Detroit oval in 2023.
“We are thrilled to have the ARCA Menards Series East back in 2024,” said track general manager Brandon Hamby. “It’s a key part of our schedule to have a major touring series race so early in our season. Our fans were equally thrilled to have the big full-bodied cars back at Flat Rock after a long hiatus. It was a great race last year and we’re looking forward to another great race on May 18.”
“The ARCA Menards Series East uses the same cars that race in the ARCA Menards Series, so they are capable of racing at places like Daytona, Talladega, Springfield, and Watkins Glen,” said ARCA Menards Series president and Flat Rock Speedway owner Ron Drager. “But the East series really shines when it races on the tight bullrings like Flat Rock Speedway. It’s again one of the most anticipated races of the year on the ARCA Menards Series East schedule.”
“As a brand deeply rooted in American heritage and innovation, Dutch Boy® Paints is thrilled to be a part of the Dutch Boy 150 ARCA Menards Series race at Flat Rock Speedway,” said Michelle Bangs, senior brand manager, Dutch Boy® Paints. ”This event holds great significance as it highlights our commitment to motorsports and the enthusiastic fan community of the ARCA Menards Series, while also allowing us to connect with race fans that are also DIYers in a unique and exciting way.”
Both reserved and general admission tickets are available for the Dutch Boy 150 by calling the Toledo Speedway | Flat Rock Speedway office at (419) 727-1100 or by visiting FlatRockSpeedway.com.
