CONCORD, N.C.: GEARS Racing League, one of the premiere racing leagues on the iRacing.com platform, providing action-packed and never-ending excitement, will be proudly presenting its logo on the hood of Brayton Laster’s ARCA car at Charlotte Motor Speedway, for the ARCA Menards Series race on Friday, May 23.
The ARCA Menards Series is one of the leading stock car series in the world, falling under the NASCAR banner, it is a crucial step for almost every driver you see competing in the Daytona 500 to make a start in the ARCA Menards Series. The cars are no stranger to speed though, with speeds pushing over 190 miles an hour.
This will be Laster’s second trip to Charlotte and his first with Wayne Peterson Motorsports, with whom he has teamed up to tackle the entire 2025 ARCA Menards Season. Laster last raced at Charlotte in 2023, driving the No. 12 for Fast Track Racing.
“The first time I ever went to Charlotte a couple of years ago, it was a big learning experience. It was my first time ever on an intermediate style track, and I instantly started to learn from my mistakes with a spin early in practice,” Brayton Laster said.
“Followed up with an early spin in the race as well, I spent the entire race just learning and getting experience to prepare myself for an opportunity down the road, and now that opportunity is here.”
GEARS Racing League, kicked off its 4th season of virtual competition on February 24th, with the “Duels at Daytona” to set the starting lineup for their opening race, the Daytona 250, on March 3rd.
The GEARS Racing League schedule will consist of 25 races and feature weekly competition through September. Each race features fixed setups, off-track race control, and a broadcast on Twitch.tv/xhorseboatx.

The “ARCA 150” at Charlotte Motor Speedway will take place on Friday, May 23rd. It will be 150 miles or 100 laps around the world-famous speedway, with a scheduled half-way break at or around lap 50. The race will be broadcast on FS1 and the Fox Sports app.
