In 2019, the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Sprint Cars has competed at the Charlotte Dirt Track on Friday night as part of a two-night show during the spring race weekend. But, the United Rentals Patriot Nationals will revert back to a one-day show on Sat., May 23 giving race fans the opportunity to enjoy a jammed pack Saturday of competition between the NASCAR Xfinity Series at the 1.5-mile speedway before the smorgasbord of sprint car excitement takes place under the lights for the richest spring car event in the Southeast.
Additionally, for the Bank of America ROVAL 400 race weekend in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs, qualifying will move from Fri., Oct 9, 2020, to Sat., Oct. 10, 2020, creating an action-packed day for the 2.28-mile ROVAL which will also host NASCAR Xfinity Series qualifying and the Drive for the Cure 250 presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina Playoff race.
Charlotte Motor Speedway hopes that NASCAR’s new on-track competition schedule will provide fans more time to visit the NASCAR team shops, NASCAR Hall of Fame and explore all the entertainment attractions the greater Charlotte region has to offer.
