Two-time Daytona 500 champion and current NASCAR television analyst Dale Earnhardt Jr. is soon to be a two-time father.
Earnhardt’s wife Amy made the announcement on Instagram Wednesday using daughter Isla Rose to surprise the now-retired NASCAR Cup Series driver about the new addition.
Isla will turn 2 on April 30.
Earnhardt Jr. is a 15-time consecutive winner of the NASCAR’s most popular award and works for NBC Sports during their half of the broadcast season.
Earnhardt Jr. also co-owns JR Motorsports, a NASCAR Xfinity Series team alongside Cup Series team owner Rick Hendrick. Earnhardt Jr.’s sister, Kelley Earnhardt Miller is the organizations’ general manager.
Earnhardt Jr., 45, married Amy on December 31, 2016.
