Chad Finchum driving Garage 66 NASCAR Cup Series entry at Texas
STATESVILLE, N.C. (April 24, 2025) – Garage 66 is bringing Chad Finchum back for his first NASCAR Cup Series start of 2025 with an entry into the Würth 400 at Texas Motor Speedway. The Knoxville, Tennessee native will pilot the No. 66 Hart HVAC & Electric / Winsupply of Fort Worth Ford Mustang Dark Horse.
“I am super excited to get back behind the wheel at Texas Motor Speedway on May 4th in the NASCAR Cup Series,” said Finchum. “Texas has always been a very good track for me, dating back to 2019 when I earned a Top 15 finish in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Big shoutout to our good friends and partners at Hart HVAC & Electric and Winsupply of Fort Worth for coming aboard for this race, and thanks to Garage 66 for the opportunity. Let’s make some noise and bring home a great result!”
The 30-year-old racer has seven NASCAR Xfinity Series starts at Texas Motor Speedway of experience to draw on, as well as prior NASCAR Cup Series experience here. He reached his first on-track Cup checkered flag in the 2020 Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500 at this facility.
Hart HVAC & Electric will adorn the hood of the No. 66 car in Texas. Since 1999, Hart has been providing expert A/C, heating, and electrical services for families and businesses throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, with exemplary customer service as shown by their 5.0 rating from nearly 1,700 Google reviews and A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.
Winsupply of Fort Worth will ride on the quarterpanels of Finchum’s machine. They supply HVAC products from the best brands in the industry, carrying the advantages of being a large, nationwide supplier while maintaining local accountability.
Garage 66 co-owner Carl Long has been fielding NASCAR national series entries at Texas Motor Speedway for years, but this will be the first time his Statesville, North Carolina organization has taken a Next Gen car to this track. “I am looking forward to bringing Chad back to Texas, a track where he had one of his biggest stand-out drives in the Xfinity Series in our equipment. We have notes from intermediate tracks last year. This should give us a solid foundation with Chad for our Cup setup. I know Chad is up for this challenge and will give us great feedback as we have 400 miles to adjust it on Sunday,” said Long. The NASCAR Cup Series on-track action begins on Saturday, May 3 with practice and qualifying streaming live on Amazon’s Prime Video. The Würth 400 runs on Sunday, May 4 at 2:30 pm CT (3:30 pm ET), with live television coverage on FOX Sports 1.
