LAS VEGAS, Nev.: After Stewart-Haas Racing folded following the 2024 season, Noah Gragson has shifted to Front Row Motorsports and will look to capitalize on hometown advantage to strengthen his NASCAR Cup Series season in Sunday’s Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway.
Gragson returns to his hometown aiming for his second top-10 finish of the season. Despite holding an average finish of 24th through the first four races, the popular driver is confident that his No. 4 Front Row Motorsports team has what it takes to bounce back from a tough outing at Phoenix Raceway and secure his first top-10 result on an oval in 2025.
“I think we’re in a much better place on what the results show,” Gragson said. “We don’t have any really good results to show for where we’re at as a team, but everybody’s really motivated, really confident.”
“Last week, we had a pretty good car just got collected into a wreck and then went laps down trying to fix it. So we couldn’t really show exactly where we were. We didn’t qualify great, so we need to be better on that front, in front of the wreck and stuff.
“But I think there’s some little things we’re trying to massage and work out and continue to improve on, but I feel like we’re in a good place.”
Gragson’s offseason move to Front Row Motorsports united him with Todd Gilliland and Zane Smith — a trio of young, talented drivers who are also close friends off the track.
Their bond has fueled a shared goal to establish a new tone for the Bob Jenkins-owned team following the departure of veteran driver Michael McDowell at the end of the season.
“I think just trying to build and grow what they have and continue to expand,” added Gragson. It’s great working with Zane (Smith) and Todd (Gilliand) and “Bergy” (crew chief Ryan Bergenty) and “Tic Tac” (crew chief Chris Lawson).
“Those guys are really good, and they’ve been at different organizations, so we can kind of take all of our learnings from different organizations and bring them together and just continue to grow.”
The goal this season is to get all three Front Row Motorsports teams into the Playoffs, and consistency — along with a win — would make that possible.
