Dover, Del. – Due to inclement weather, NASCAR and Dover (Del.) International Speedway officials have postponed Friday evening’s Crosley 125 until Saturday, Oct. 6.
With sunset occurring at 6:30 p.m., the call was made shortly before 5:00 p.m. following the cancelation of Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series qualifying for Sunday’s Gander Outdoors 400.
The Crosley 125, the 2018 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East season finale, is now scheduled to take the green flag at approximately 9 a.m. ET.
The K&N garage will open at 7:30 a.m. with driver introductions slated for shortly before the 9 a.m. start.
Earlier in the day, Harrison Burton won his fourth career pole and second of 2018 ahead of MDM Motorsports teammate Anthony Alfredo. The 17-year-old son of former NASCAR driver and now NBC analyst Jeff Burton is the defending champion of the event.
Dover International Speedway grandstand gates will open at 8:45 a.m. EDT for all fans who hold tickets for the “Crosley 125” NASCAR K&N Pro Series East or the “Bar Harbor 200” presented by Sea Watch International NASCAR Xfinity Series playoff race.
After the “Crosley 125,” ticket holders for the “Bar Harbor 200” presented by Sea Watch International will have priority for reserved seating. “Crosley 125” ticket holders can remain in the stands for all of Saturday’s on-track action.
All other on-track activity for Saturday remains as scheduled.
