iiOTec Industrial Automation makes their NASCAR debut with Dexter Bean
WESTBY, WI, August 24, 2023 – Dexter Bean returns to the Milwaukee Mile along with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) and new partner iiOTec Industrial Automation, based out of Green Bay, WI. IiOTec, Inc. is a leading provider of Industrial Internet of Things (iioT) solutions. With a strong focus on transforming industrial operations, iiOTec offers a comprehensive range of innovative products and services to enhance efficiency, productivity, and safety in various industries.
“Pushing limits on the track mirrors our commitment to innovation and performance in the manufacturing world,” said iiOTec President, Steve Dobson. “iiOTec is a proud sponsor of BlackJack Racing, where performance and technology accelerate together.”
Bean, also a Wisconsin native, will pilot the No. 21 Badger Environmental & Earthworks, Inc. Chevy Silverado fielded by BlackJack Racing, a family owned and operated team. The International Union of Operating Engineers Local 139 and Frontier Property Management, LLC. have also come on board for the return of BlackJack Racing. Bean and only one other competitor entered for this weekend’s Clean Harbors 175 (Matt Crafton) have ever competed in a NCTS race at the Milwaukee Mile as the series had a 14-year hiatus from the facility. In his last running at the historic venue Bean finished 17th in a DGM Racing fielded entry.
“It’s a great feeling to be able to partner with companies right in my own backyard and have a race so close to home for them all to attend and partake in the magic of NASCAR,” said Bean, driver of the No. 21 Silverado. “This is a big race for our family-owned team because we have many local partners, new and old, supporting us that will be in attendance and a considerable amount of my family members will be there as well, so we’re hoping for a really strong truck debut.”
The Clean Harbors 175 at the Milwaukee Mile will air LIVE on FS1, Sunday, August 27, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. ET. Practice is slated for Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., with Qualifying the following day at 11:30 a.m., broadcasting LIVE on FS1.

About BlackJack Racing
BlackJack Racing is a family owned and operated team that was built from a winning hand of Black Jack. David Bean had a dream of racing and used his considerable winnings to create a race team that started at the local short track level. Bean went on to earn the 2001 Rookie of the Year title at La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway and created a love for motorsports that has lasted decades and has been passed down through multiple generations. This love for racing has fueled the team and pushed them to reach their goal of competing in the highest levels of NASCAR. To this team racing is more than just sport, it is family and building a bond like no other.
