The future is bright as the Boys & Girls Club of the Blue Ridge 200 will shine under the lights on Friday night
MARTINSVILLE, Va. (March 20, 2025) – The future of both NASCAR and the Blue Ridge region is bright as Martinsville Speedway combines forces with the local Boys & Girls Club chapter for the Friday night NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series on March 28 at 7:30 p.m.
The Boys & Girls Club of the Blue Ridge 200 will kick off an exciting weekend of racing with NASCAR’s up-and-coming stars at the famed half-mile track.
“The Boys & Girls Club of the Blue Ridge does such great work providing opportunities for our local youth to grow and discover their own talents,” said Clay Campbell, President of Martinsville Speedway. “It’s a perfect partnership with Martinsville Speedway as so many stars of the sport got their first national series win in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series at our track.”
Several current NASCAR Cup Series drivers first visited Victory Lane at Martinsville in the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series. Bubba Wallace made his mark in the sport with his first NASCAR national series win in 2013 behind the wheel of a truck there, while Noah Gragson’s first win came in 2017 at the track. Todd Gilliland’s first win also came in the trucks at Martinsville, in 2019.

The Club serves students at five sites in Martinsville and Henry County, allowing children and teens participating in programs at the Club have a safe place to discover their gifts, talents and unique abilities throughout the year. Programs offered incorporate healthy living and active learning in members’ experiences, emphasizing good nutrition and regular physical activity. Additionally, the Club provides engaging homework help, access to technology, and fun themed summer activities to encourage learning year-round.
The Boys & Girls Club of the Blue Ridge has a strong connection to Martinsville Speedway and NASCAR and members have also participated in The NASCAR Foundation’s Speediatrics Fun Day Festival at the track.
The Boys & Girls Club of the Blue Ridge 200 is the opener of the triple-header race weekend taking place next week at Martinsville Speedway.
The weekend begins on Friday, March 28, under the lights with the NASCAR CRAFSTMAN Truck Series Boys & Girls Club of the Blue Ridge 200 race. The action continues on Saturday, March 29, with the NASCAR Xfinity Series Marine Corps 250.
The race weekend concludes with the NASCAR Cup Series Cook Out 400 on Sunday, March 30, marking NASCAR’s 2025 return to the famed short track.
